Featured Basketry Kit

Today we are featuring our Twined Basket Kit - Gathering Style. This is one of our most popular basket kits. Have fun creating it and then use it to gather berries, nuts and more.  Twining is one of the earliest methods of basket making. Twining styles, materials and decorative motifs vary by region.  Open twining, as taught in this kit, is common among many Native American cultures in North America.  Our kit includes: fiber rush, hemp twine and a 16-page full color instructional booklet. You will need: scissors, ruler, fork. Kit makes one 7 inch basket.  Ages 12 and up, adult Participation necessary for younger ages. Made in USA.
